The Hotel has 9 en-suite guest bedrooms. All rooms have tea- and coffee-making facilities and televisions, these are gradually being upgraded to flat screen TVs.  All bedroom telephones have connections for Laptops.

The Suite boasts a 4-poster bed, a giant en-suite bath and must be seen to be believed! This room proves popular as a bridal suite as well as for celebrations of special anniversaries or for guests just wishing to spoil themselves.

The Hotel's restaurant is open seven evenings a week where food may be served in the restaurant, bar or lounge. Due to the popularity of the restaurant, booking is highly recommended on Friday and Saturday evening. We take great pride in the food we offer - all home-cooked and where possible, based on fresh local produce. If you have any special dietary needs, just let us know and we will do our best to help.

Listed in the CAMRA Good Beer guide since 2005, the Gosforth Hall offers a range of quality Real Ales that change regularly.

Building of the Hall commenced in 1658, the year of Oliver Cromwell's death. The date of completion is not clear, although the date on the Coat of Arms situated in the bar is 1673. The hotel stands next to St Mary's Church with the famous 15ft-high Viking Cross. Many of the building's original features have been retained, in keeping with its Grade 2* listing.
