Easby-Orwell Publishing was launched at the end of June 2007.
The first magazine, The Whitehaven Guide, was launched to highlight all that is great about the area, from Whitehaven down as far as Bootle and beyond.
The success of that very first Whitehaven Guide was unprecedented. We thought that the guide would be different and that some may like what we where doing, but the response was so great we decided to launche The Workington Guide, including The Cockermouth and The Maryport Guide.The Keswick.
We have everything covered - leisure, arts, sport, live music, entertainment, local attractions, eating out, farmers markets, shopping and loads, loads more. With two months advance notice, using our guides is a must and we can guarantee you will never miss a thing. If you have an event, we want to know about it - and entry to the guide is totally free.
This winning formula has been replicated, don't over-advertise, keep the magazines interesting with as much content and useful info as possible and keep them free of charge.
